Hana Rucker is a self-taught sculpture artist and ceramicist based in the beautiful and inspiring Pacific Northwest region. She works with a diverse range of materials, including metal, wood, and ceramics, often incorporating scrap, recycled, and found objects into her thoughtfully crafted pieces. Every item she creates is meticulously handmade in her intimate home studio located in Milwaukie, Oregon. Much of her artistic focus is dedicated to designing unique capsule collections for small galleries, as well as collaborating closely with clients to craft bespoke dishware that is specifically tailored to their individual needs and preferences. Over the years, she has also actively participated in various art exhibitions, engaged in artist collaborations, and been featured in multiple publications recognizing her work. In addition to her studio practice, Hana is deeply involved in community-focused art initiatives, leading classes for students and partnering with non-profit organizations to provide ceramics as a meaningful form of art therapy at summer camps. Hana is married to restaurateur and chef Gabriel Rucker, and together they are raising three young children.
